Coral Gables, FL-– The Miami Hurricanes men’s basketball team is off to a very promising start to the season. The Canes are 2-0 heading into play this weekend and are looking to continue to get great contributions from true freshman phenom, Jalil Bethea.
The Canes are going to be tested a few times in the coming days as they warm up with HBCU basketball power Coppin State in preparation for the Charleston Classic.
According to a press release by ESPN “the eight-team field – Drake, Florida Atlantic, Miami, Nevada, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall, Vanderbilt, and VCU –competing in the 2024 Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic. The annual men’s college basketball tournament will be played on November 21, 22, and 24 at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C.”
